v0.33.2 is available to download now from http://www.tweetdeck.com or get the .air file from here.

This version WILL be auto-pushed to everyone very soon (v0.33.1 still had some issues, hence why that was not auto-pushed)

Fixed in this release:

  • FIXED: TwitScoop columns very slow to update
  • FIXED: Still seeing Rate Limit Exceeded errors with Auto API management turned on
  • FIXED: Unable to login if computer date is not accurate

TweetDeck v0.33.1 available to download now

v0.33.1 is now available to download from http://www.tweetdeck.com and will be automatically pushed out to all users over the next few hours. You can also obtain the .air file directly from here.

Here's what's new in this release:

  • FIXED: Friends list incomplete when editing a group
  • FIXED: Double byte characters not displayed in list of saved groups/searches
  • FIXED: Read tweets in search columns coming back as unread after clearing
  • FIXED: YouTube videos continue to play sound after closing
  • FIXED: TweetDeck sensitive to computer clock time when logging in (EDIT - NOT actually fixed in 0.33.1, but fixed in 0.33.2)
  • FIXED: Rate limit exceeded even when using auto API management (EDIT - NOT actually fixed in 0.33.1, but fixed in 0.33.2)
  • FIXED: Groups columns in column navigator do not show refresh time.
  • ADDED: Allow an easy way for users to decrease the log level without a rebuilding the app
  • ADDED: TwitVid videos now open in a  preview in the app
  • CHANGED: Reduced the minimum refresh time in the app to 10 seconds.

  • FIXED: bitly.tv links get autoshortened
  • IMPROVED: The download size of the app is now 2.0MB from 2.7MB
  • UPDATED: The Tweet Panel is now locked whilst a tweet is sending
  • FIXED: Double byte characters (eg Chinese, Japanese) not working in the search box.
  • FIXED: Character count sometimes not shown
  • FIXED: Clicking the 'You are now following' message downloads an old version of TD

    The TweetDeck app for iPhone and iPod Touch has been updated to v1.3 and is available now from the App Store.

    Here's an overview of the new features in this release:

     

    • Geo-tagging of tweets
    • Tweet detail shows map for geo-coded tweets
    • View all geo-coded tweets from a column on a map
    • New-style Retweets displayed in stream, showing originator and retweeter name
