<p><strong>Windows Fix</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Right click the downloaded TweetDeck installer file (.air file) and select 'Open With'</li>
<li>Browse through: Program Files/Common Files/Adobe Air/Versions/1.0/</li>
<li>Select the 'Adobe AIR Application Installer' </li>
</ul>
<div>TweetDeck should now install correctly.</div>

<p><strong>Mac OS Fix</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 17px;">There may be untrusted or self-signed certificates in the Keychain - This has been found by other users to cause problems with the install. It is advised to remove any self-signed certificates in order to not have this AIR file problem.</span></li>

<p>Try running the air installer file as Admin/Administrator (Vista/Windows 7) first and see if it installs. If not, follow the steps below:</p>
<ul>
<li>TweetDeck may still be listed in the Control Panel - Add/Remove programs. However, it won't remove as it claims there is a missing .msi file.</li>
<li>Uninstall Adobe AIR</li>
<li>Download & Run the Microsoft Installer Cleanup utility ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 )</li>
<li>Get rid of any TweetDeck or AIR files shown by the utility</li>
<li>Check that there is no AIR files within: \Program Files\Common Files\ </li>
<li>Download & Install Adobe AIR - http://get.adobe.com/air/</li>
<li>Download & Install TweetDeck - http://bit.ly/thedeck</li>
</ul>
<div>This should now allow you to Install TweetDeck.</div>
