When creating a Facebook column, you are offered the choice of including Everyone (ie ALL your Facebook Friends), or a creating a Group.

If you select Create a New Group then you can create a group of Facebook friends in much the same way as you create a group of Twitter friends.

Give the column a name (this will also be the name of the Group).

You can then add group members by using the filter box to narrow your list, and ticking the boxes next to the friends you wish to include.

When you are finished adding, just click Finish to create the column.

If you have logged in with a TweetDeck account, this group will be stored on the server to be used in other TweetDeck instances.

You will only see updates in this new column from the people that you selected in the friends list.

If you need to edit the group members, just click on the column header and the friends list will be displayed again. Make any required changed and click Finish.
