The bit.ly URL shortening service provides a host of useful services and analytics for URLs it shortens.

You can now ensure that any bit.ly_shortened URLs you create through TweetDeck appear as part of your personal bit.ly account by adding your bit.ly API key.

To do this:

• Go to Settings > Services
• Ensure you have selected bit.ly as the URL shortening service
  
• Enter your bit.ly username
• Enter your bit.ly API key - you can find yours here  http://bit.ly/account
• Click Save

Now when you shorten any links in TweetDeck they will be visible in your bit.ly account here http://bit.ly
